VOA Director to Discuss Voice of America’s Future

AFSA and the Public Diplomacy Council will host a discussion with Voice of America director David Ensor about the role of VOA and other international broadcasting services in today’s media environment. The event takes place on Tuesday, 9 September at AFSA headquarters in Washington, D.C.

Ensor became VOA director in June 2011, after serving as communications director at the U.S. embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan. Ensor previously worked as a reporter or correspondent for National Public Radio, ABC News, and CNN. He was also vice-president for communications at Mercuria Energy Group, an international energy trading and investment company.
