PD Council Seeks Ten Best Public Diplomacy Actions of 2013 [UPDATED]

UPDATE: Here is Public Diplomacy Council’s Ten Best List for 2013.

Public Diplomacy Council wants your nominations for the best public diplomacy actions, ideas, programs or decisions of 2013.

The rules, says PDC, are simple: “Anyone can make a nomination.” Entries are welcome from current and former public diplomacy professionals, as well as observers in the academic world, business, and government. Nominations should be sent by e-mail to PD10Best@gmail.com by noon on Monday, 30 December.

The instructions, according to a message from PDC, are:

Use a subject line of no more than a dozen (12) words to identify the action, idea, program or decision you are nominating. Then, in the body of the message, in 140 characters or less, say why this nomination is one of the year’s ten best in public diplomacy.

Identity of the person or group nominating will remain confidential. All decisions in selecting the ten best of 2013 are made by PDC representatives, are final, and are not subject to appeal.

The ten best of public diplomacy will be announced on 31 December on the Public Diplomacy Council Web site.
